My weekend was pretty sweet. A lot of hangout time, but also a lot of adventure.
On Friday at 5pm, the new iPad 2 went on sale at the Apple Store. So, at 4:30 I ran from my office, picked up Japes and headed to the mall. As I had predicted, we showed up way too late, but it was still fun to be at the epicenter of the fun. JP got to actually touch an iPad 2. He said it was incredibly skinny and light. I wound up ordering one online. I'm not in a big hurry to have one; I can wait a few weeks. Plus since I ordered it online, I was able to have it engraved with "Are you in to crumbing?" :)

That night, we hacked my Nook Color. It was pretty exciting; it now boots up with Android OS 3.0. I still need to hack it more to install the Android Marketplace, but that's for next time.

On Saturday, we went to a BBQ where our host set up an XBox Konnect. It sure is fun. My favorite game was bowling. I was surpised at how accurate to real life the bowling game was. The part that wasn't accurate? I bowled a 194.

On Sunday, JP, Liz and I were supposed to go to a giant rummage sale in Balboa Park, but with the time change and its early closing time, we missed it altogether. Crap. So, for kicks, we wound up going antique-ing. It was pretty meh, but as a treat, we went to Viva Pops. OMG, yum.

Ok, back to work.
