Good, cleanish fun

Last night was an event at The Hole called Team Trivia Night. What a fun and random way to spend a Friday night.

You needed teams to 2-5 to compete, so I figured it would probably be Mark and me, and maybe one other guy. Mark is awesome at trivia, so I knew we had a chance.

Out of nowhere, I saw a post by bobaloo saying he would be in town for the weekend. Next thing you know, we've got a team of three!



We got third place. Our prize was a $20 bar coupon. It reminded me of family game night growing up. At the end of the night, my face hurt from laughing and smiling so much.

I was stoked to finally meet Bob in person. Turns out he's super cool and fun. I'm pretty sure he's a Kiss fan...

Tibor/tibortiger and I love doin' stuff like this when we get the chance -- he rocks at trivia, too, partly cuz of his brain-wiring being so detail-oriented and stuff. There was a "trivia-night" at one of the straight "pubsteraunt"s in the area (only an hour's drive away or something -- don't ya just love the way nothing's really...close, ever? ;o) ) that I went along to a couple of times when I was down, but the guy running it had another job and turned it over to someone else who kind of effed it up so no one went anymore... We need to look for something fun and "un-bar'ish" like that again... :o)

I need some *fun* bear-friends locally now, I think. None of the locals talk to me. They seem to think I'm a) "on the prowl" for their fine, fine bodies (hardly) or, b) "too old to be cool" -- mostly cuz I don't go to the bar constantly, I think... :o(

There's a reason I have more fun *internationally* than I do locally, I think... ;o) None of you guys knows the "Wicked, Evil Hux!!!" stories from my deep, dark past, so y'all think I'm normal and nice! Mwahahahaha! ;o)
