A classic

It's Saturday and I have a few hours to kill, so I busted out my old Clamshell iBook.

This one was my first Mac. I loved it like a baby. It was also the first laptop that I really worked on. I upgraded the hard drive, the wireless card and the ram. I even overclocked it to 400mhz. I later moved on to white iBooks, and replacing logic boards, but that got... expensive...

Tangerine, baby. I love and miss Apple's wacky, colorful designs. I mean, I get it; no one wants to spend $2000 on something that looks like a teenage girl's makeup kit. But still, it's fun.

I'm thinking about using this badboy to stream music to my living room. It's just crazy enough to work!

Agreed. The original Bondai iMac was so groundbreaking, and so influential on industrial design, that those colors started showing up everywhere. I remember seeing a clothing iron that was white and blue plastic.

In 2005 right around the same time I bought my first iBook I bought a Dalmatian iMac just to use as a jukebox.
