Road Trip! ...plus musicgasm.
Sep. 13th, 2010 09:32 pmDave (
pinner123) and I drove up to LA to hang out with Jebby (
50poundnote) and Thomas (
franken_bear) and to watch the Scissor Sisters show at the Hollywood Palladium. It was an epic, mega-gay adventure. Highlights?
I met Jebby and Thomas in real life for the first time. In a word, they're rad (and cute).

The Scissor Sisters show was fun. Mr Brian (
kingfuraday) was there....

...I told him I noticed a disproportionate about of bear dudes at the show.
"This is Pooh Corner," he said. Pooh Corner is the section in every Scissor Sisters show where bear dudes lust over BabyDaddy. Ah, gotcha.

On Sunday, Dave and I went shopping at The Grove. I had never been; it was fun. Kinda reminded me of Disneyland. Nearby, there's this random, rundown area called the Farmer's Market. We bought a bunch of junk, and lots of delicious, unhealthy food there.

No, I didn't buy that cookie jar, but I bought a ton of music at Amoeba.
Oh, Amoeba, you make me so happy...

We ended the day at Yogurtland! with
e_ticket and Jason. I was put off by all the hipsters, but it was fun. We sat outside.

I don't think I would ever want to live in LA, but hey, it sure is fun to visit!
