I spontaneously decided to go see Tron Legacy one last time last night before it vanishes to blu-ray obscurity.

I liked it more the second time around, mostly because the first time around, it was the midnight showing so I fell asleep a few times. Also, Mira Mesa Edwards, where I saw it the first time, is a crap theater. When it got to the light cycle race this time around, I was like, "Whoa, there's a light cycle race in this one?"
Good times.

bobaloo. He had quite a day yesterday, and I hope everything's ok.

Zoom!
Date: 2011-01-05 09:12 pm (UTC)Saw it just the once, in non-3D, and didn't really enjoy it as much as I'd hoped (or it had been hyped) that I would. Maybe the 3D does "something" to your brain and you don't notice what a pastiche it is? [[hope hope hope]] I really wanted to like it but found myself very detached from the process, waiting for...*something* to happen that would draw me in.
Spent the entire drive home being harangued about what a bad movie it was, too...and I'm sure that didn't help me "digest" it very well, either. ;o)
