Gemütlichkeit and a blast from the past

A few weeks ago, Dave pinner123 and I were talking about a restaurant from my childhood called Bob's Big Boy.
I remember going there something like once a week as a kid. I even remember being too young to have the Big Boy burger while my brother would get to have it.
My beverage of choice would always be a large, heaping glass of whole milk.
At some point in the 80's all of the nearby Bob's Big Boys turned in to Allie's and eventually closed down. Then they reopened as the all-microwave-oven Coco's we know today.
With a little research, Dave discovered that there is a Bob's nearby, in El Cajon. It's attached to a Wal-mart, of all places.
It's all about the statue in front!
I had the Big Boy, of course. Secret Sauce!
We stayed for quite a while and gossiped about our friends. We both texted pictures of our food to njbearcub1. Could have stayed longer, but it got loud.
It was way too many calories but who's counting, right? Yay, friends and food.
