Ok, now that I'm all caught up and have all day to think about each song, it's actually a little bit harder. To choose a song by my favorite band, I first had to establish whom my favorite "band" is. I tend to go through bands. I was in to Smashing Pumpkins at one point, but even Billy Corgan once said every band has no more than 3 good albums in them.
I'm thinking Soundgarden. They were(are?) such an amazing band. Chris Cornell is possibly the best rock singer ever. I mean, have you ever heard Birth Ritual on the Single Soundtrack? Woo whee.
The first time I ever drove a car all by myself, I put Badmotorfinger in the casette deck of my Oldmobile Cutlass (sup,
50poundnote?) and cranked the volume. It was the SOUND OF FREEDOM.
