What little hipster music cred I had is now totally out the window. (plus bed-beard)

I can't stop listening to Rihanna - Loud.
I discovered it on Rhapsody, but found myself listening to it daily, so I bought it.

I feel so dirty and ashamed. :)
But, you know, she's famous for a reason. There are some great songs on it. My favorite? Cheers (Drink to That)

I was a ginger when I was born. Does that count for anything? :)

She's kinda famous for being famous, but she does have a few hits.

Anti-hipster-indi music is what's really hip right now. You are so ahead of the curve!

Oh. Yay!

I love it, too! I've been listening to it a lot at work. Loud. And ignoring people. Cheers is my favorite song as well. It amuses me that it samples Avril Lavigne, too.

What? I didn't know that. Is she the "yeah yeah, yeah yeah" part?

[identity profile] bigsabu.livejournal.com 2010-12-19 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup! It's from the song "I'm With You" I believe. And parts of the song remind me of Sinead O'Connor because of how she's singing it. it's an interestingly composed song.

I picked up that one and Leona Lewis' new CD for hubby Justin's birthday. He's enjoying the heck out of them both. And agreed that track 3 is great, but track 1 has some great back beat and lyrics too - especially played loud in the car. LOL

Yeah, I was listening to track 1 this morning in my truck. It's fun!
