Music Meme - Day 27
Day 27. A song that you wish you could play
This one's easy for me.
A while back, I got really in to piano players of the 70's and 80's. I started with Elton John, who I think we all agree, is amazing. Once I had tracked down every cd/record by him, I moved on to Randy Newman. Now, I'm listening to Billy Joel.
For a while there, I became infatuated with Randy Newman. His best stuff is his ragtime music. I even went as far as taking piano lessons for a few years, with the intention of eventually being able to play his music.
Turns out, I wasn't really meant to be a piano player. I never got nearly good enough to play any of his music well. But I would kill to be able to play this.

I love Fozzie Bear and Scooter's version of that song too!

I also really got in to Good Old Boys, Little Criminals, Land of Dreams and Nilsson Sings Newman, which is Randy on piano and Harry Nilsson singing.
