The Fog

This morning, on my way to work, there was an unusual fog rolling in to downtown. I was wearing my hot cop sunglasses, and through the brown tint, it looked like smoke.

I ran in to the middle of the street and snapped a pic. (The black building on the left is where I work.)

When I got to my office, I realized I was right in the middle of it. Here's kind of the same shot, from a different angle.

I looked for vengeful ghosts of mariners killed in a shipwreck but didn't see any.

It was pea soup in our part of San Francisco today. but when I drove over to the Castro it was merely overcast. When I headed back home it was back into the thick stuff. You could see about three doors down the street and that was it.
